This is a rare opportunity for a senior lawyer with a keen interest and proven experience in asset structuring and estate planning to join our property and private client team, based in Christchurch.
You will primarily advise new and longstanding clients of the Firm on asset planning and protection, including the structuring of asset ownership, the formation and administration of Trusts, property acquisitions and sales and associated personal matters.
From time to time you will also be involved in advising on Trust transactional or restructure matters in support of clients of our Relationship Property and Civil Litigation teams.
The successful applicant will have 6+ years PQE experience, proven technical ability, exceptional attention to detail and an excellent grasp of the requirements of the Trusts Act 2019. You'll enjoy the independence of leading matters and the responsibility of supervising and mentoring less experienced members of the team, be personable and have a maturity that belies your years.
You'll also understand the importance of excellence in client service and appreciate the value of relationships, both within and outside of the Firm.
